Just Another Teenage Blogger

A few months ago, I received this comment from this reader who wrote how she essentially read my whole blog in a single day and even though I sound like a narcissist douche, I was and am pretty sure it was more ‘her’ ability to sit around than anything else.

The P.S. of her comment, where she wrote how when we meet, she is going to take my autograph, made me both overwhelmed with happiness and silly and I responded saying that we would get a photograph clicked and I’ll make a post about our awesome meeting on my blog.

Even though I was genuinely happy, at that time I presumed, as I did not know her or had a look at her blog, that she would be just another blogger teenager, all fascinated with my amateurish attempts at writing and someone who maybe did not have much literary exposure.

But boy was I proven wrong when I actually met her and found that she was as much like I had imagined her as east and west are same and when incidentally, as it happens with me always, started the long line of purely unintentional but strictly stupid heart-breaking incidents/
katas

My friends, the writer and the poet, had planned a surprise for me by inviting her and the actor for my birthday and when finally she was presented in a very suspenseful manner and where my reaction should have been of delight, I reacted in the most unexciting expression imaginable.

And then later, when all of us sat down and I was being given gifts amidst talks about how I should be punished for arriving late on my birthday, my reaction to the amazing gift that she got for me and with so difficulty, could only be described as drab.

Now, as unintentional as it all may have been, but if I were in her place, I would’ve definitely wanted to stab the person with the same pen I would’ve taken for the autograph from, if not for the shock which would’ve left me unsure as to how to stab/react.

But some people are more sensible and forgiving I guess because she still took my autograph for real when we and our writer next met on the library visit and after which, being generous, she shared a list of amazing songs which I had never heard about the awesomeness of.

Now, since that second meeting and very automatically, me and her and our writer have become this trio who meet and share and laugh and fight and do so much stuff together, despite the number of kattas that I end up doing, that it like we’ve known each other forever.

Now, here I am, writing that post that I promised finally, and trying to search for a picture of us and deciding on a group one we got clicked on my birthday and it makes me feel as much excited as the day I read her comment on my blog.

L > R: the poet, me, the writer, just another teenage blogger.

P.S: This post is made of 10 paragraphs/sentences of exactly 50 words each and no full stops in between the sentences. It was supposed to be posted by 1500Hrs but I am full 24 minutes late.
The prompt was given to me by 'just another teenage blogger'. The topic was not given so I chose this long in wait post. :)
